About

Teresa Zúñiga OdomHola Y’all!   I’m Teresa and welcome to my blog – Southern Señora!  I’m a Latina of Mexican-American descent living in Birmingham, Alabama since the early 1980s.

I’m married to my perfect Southern Gentleman – Eddie – and together we’ve raised three rather awesome children – Charlie, Anna Marie and Emily Ruth.  We added our much loved puppy – Lucy – to the mix seven years ago.

I’m a lover of cultures, cultural events, good causes, photography and connecting people.

Hi Teresa! I’m a fellow blogger (www.guidetobham.com) and I’m working on a post about events in Birmingham during Hispanic Heritage Month. I would love to do a quick interview with you.

Hi Teresa! I just found your blog. I will be doing some Hispanic Community outreach through my work and my daughter is marrying a sweet Mexi-American fellow next spring! I’ve enjoyed looking through some of your photos and entries and would love to connect. I work for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.

Hi Lisa! I would love to connect! Thanks for reaching out and thrilled you found my blog! Many years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Diego Gimenez with the AL Cooperative Extension System. Would love to hear about your work in the Hispanic community! Let me know the best way to reach you. My email is southernsenora@gmail.com.
